唤醒生命

①他生活宽裕,爱好旅游,常利用闲暇时间开着自己的车四处游历。前不久,他又进行了一次长途旅行,自己驾着车远赴2000多公里外的西藏。

②经过半个多月的奔波,他到达平均海拔3000多米的青藏高原地区。只身旅行,难免孤寂,但在那片地广人稀的地方,人影和炊烟都难得一见。他打开车里的收音机,却收听不到任何节目。

③车子进入高原腹地。穿越戈壁和沙丘的道路,两旁没有成活的草木,有的只是冰天雪地和不时刮起的狂风。

④他一路上领略着奇特的高原风光,不料赖以行进的汽车却出了故障。他仔细检查了半天,竟然没有找到任何原因。他想起以前听别人说过,如果遇到这种情况,唯一能做的事情就是等待过往的车辆,请别的司机帮忙修理,或者帮助拖着坏了的车离开这里。

⑤只有等待,他一直等了三天。糟糕的是,三天里竟没有任何车辆从这里经过,甚至连一个人影都没看见。那是怎样的一个世界啊,死一般的沉寂、空旷。他携带的食物和水已所剩无几,处境非常险恶,如果再等不到过往的车辆或者能够帮助他的人,等待他的只有死亡。

⑥又过了两天,一场大雪将他的车慢慢覆盖。他又冷又饿,因为食物已经完全吃完了。

⑦迷迷糊糊中,蜷缩在车内的他被一种声音吵醒。爬出车来,他看见车顶上趴着一只不知名的小鸟。那只小鸟也许是在寻觅食物,看起来同样无助,正用微弱的声音不停地鸣叫着。霎时间,他的泪水禁不住涌出,这是五天来,他第一次听到来自生命的声音!

⑧他伸出手,轻轻捉住了那只小鸟,将它放进相对暖和的车厢里。他开始打起精神,试着努力自救。他反反复复地仔细检查汽车,终于找到了故障的原因,原来是化油器上的一个零件阻塞了油路。车子修好了,他靠虚弱的身体开着车向前行驶了40多公里,驶抵一个牧民居住点,他终于得救了。只是,那只吵醒他的小鸟在车子行驶的途中不幸地死去了。

⑨这段经历,后来他常常谈起。他说:“是那只小鸟求生的叫声,挽救了我的生命。”直到今天,作为纪念,他还把那只风干得比拳头还小的小鸟保存在自己的书橱里。

⑩但我想说,那只殒命高原的小鸟,它并不曾想起过要救人,救他的还是他自己。小鸟的叫声唤醒了他求生的欲望,才使他得以绝处逢生。是啊,被唤醒的生命才会有激情去创造,才能够走出眼前看似无际的困境和厄运。
