its bases in science.On the contrary,fantasy is only imaginary,and involves things that do not

exist in real life.Fantasy can be about talking animals or something immortal.Science fiction

shows things that could possibly take place in the real world.Fantasy adds realism to things

that are unlikely to happen.

      When compared to fantasy stories,the imaginary elements in science fiction can largely be

possible.Though the topic in science fiction can be contrary to reality,these stories are based

on some fact that is absent in fantasy.Unlike science fiction,fantasy uses supernatural forms

and magic in its topic.

     Science fiction can be divided into different kinds,such as hard science fiction,soft science

fiction,social science fiction,time travel,military science fiction,super human fiction and space

fiction.Fantasy can be divided into horror fiction,mystery fiction,super hero fiction and

community.

      However,as fantasy fiction becomes more focused on modern environments,rather than

ancient worlds,technology plays an increasingly important role in the stories,thus leading to the

birth of Science Fantasy,just in time to meet the audience mourning a slowdown of Science

Fiction.

     Science fantasy has several characteristics.Magic is still extremely obvious.The level of

characterization differs greatly depending on the story.
