A. One day he had to go out and he said to James, his servant, "I shall be out. I want you to look after the
house. There are two bottles in the cupboard-there was poison (毒药) in them. If you drink it, you will die.
There is also some meat in the fridge and a chicken in the yard."
B. The servant said tearfully, "Master, while you were away, a cat came in and stole the meat, our neighbor's
dog ran after the chicken and killed it. I was afraid that you would get angry with me so I drank the poison
