Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF(World Wide Fund for Nature). It l on the last Saturday of March every year. 2_ this day, every family and business will turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical things _3 0ne hour to tell people the need to _ 4 0n climate change. Earth Hour was first held four years ago in Sydney, Australia. About 2.2 million people and thousands of bussiness _ 5 their non-essential /lighs. Following Sydney's lead, many 6 cities around the world adopted the event in March 2008. Morethan 400 cities,_7 bussiness and over 50 million people around the world tumed off their lights for one hour. Earth Hour 2009 was 8 larger. 88 countries and 4,088 cities took part in Earth Hour 2009. It is ten times more cities than Earth Hour 2008 had. Earth Hour 2010 took place 9 March 27, 2010 from 8:30 pm t0 9:30 pm local time. We believe it must be another largest climate event in the history. We have only one 10 . Let's love it.
